Tascam 322 Capstan belt

I had to wait till i got one of these machines in to see exactly what belts are required in this unit, I had finally the time to get my one apart.

You can I would guess change this belt without taking anything off it , but was getting a bit crazy so I just took the front plastic cassette door  and the undid the two screws that held the motor leaving one screw hanging there, I then put the belt on the motor pulley and hooked it over one side to get a bit of tension then put the motor back unhooked it and pop it into place, just watch out for some grease from the door spring as probably not wise to get that on the belt
