This is the piece of metal that holds the capstan in and that you should allow a little play when setting it up as the capstan should move about 1mm not be pressed hard against this to allow free movement and settle down when running.

These have different hole placements so there is a left right placement needed, when you take one off mark it so when it goes back you put it back right
