Fostex 8700 time code generator

I am not a big digital buff but as I understand this a is a time code generator to add code to a unit that does not have an internal clock.coder .

it can be used with professional cameras and DSLRs and of course audio, seems to be battery operated though has an external socket for 9-15 volt . It has a 24/25/30 plus a DF setting I think thats FPS (frames per second?)

Seems anything can slave to it, Thats all i can say, in original box in like new condition.

Can be battery powered

no batteries or info or other leads supplied though all looks very standard
