Soundcraft SM-20 maybe others varicurve remote option

This is a new thing for me and maybe it was a factory option that could have been ordered

I am not sure exactly what it is I am guessing it was connected to another piece of kit like an EQ strip, but its a Soundcraft part marked RC3913
