TASCAM 238 TEAC motor DL-528-001 INC PCB PLEASE READ

This motor was from a Tascam 238 , I am selling the motor but it will come with the famously known for trouble PCB, the motor is ok but I am selling the pcb that comes with it as not tested no warranty as its easier to sell that way or I need to desolder the motor,

The pcb maybe as it was originally it maybe has been upgraded and/or modified.

Basically what happened is the caps go wrong and need to be replaced or the whole thing takes off and sounds like an aeroplane engine,

There are several guys out there doing a new PCB or giving advice on what and how things need changing, sometimes the boards come in where a few caps have already been changed so you will get what ever I have to hand.

Some boards I have seen have really corroded but these seem fine, but you will have to change/or repair the board and I recommend you change all the SMT electrolytics.
