Tascam 688 r/p pcb 52102854-00

This is a massive board from the 688 full of parts , you can see why it was such an expensive machine, I am not sure yet if they use the same ( well one of them) in the 644

The 688 was really the flagship analogue portastudio amazing what the could get on 1/8 inch tape

I was amazed how heavy and how big the machine was must be 15 kilos maybe,

Nearly all the boards inside are with connectors so its one  that can be serviced easier
