Teac A3440 4 track head used

Heads are always difficult to judge, I believe this came from a Teac A3340 four track 1/4 inch, when the heads are brand new they have an all over plating, this fades over time as the air corrodes it a little,

This head has seen some use and a very slight wear groove has has appeared probably less than 0.3mm so there  is still some life in this one, I have left it in its magnetic housing though of course it can be taken out.

Priced accordingly.

I guarantee the heads are functional though the need be played for a while to remove any old tarnish etc as the unit was probably sitting 20 years or so, I very mild relap/polish may help though its normally not worth doing on home machines
